How to go to Nainital?

Nainital from Delhi:
At first, the nearest airport is Pantnagar. It is almost 70 km away and it takes around 2 hours. If we want to go by air, then we will first come to Delhi. Thereafter, from here, we will get direct flights for Pantnagar.
As a matter of fact, the nearest railway station is Kathgodam. In fact, it is around 34 km away and takes roughly 1 hour. Furthermore, there are many trains from Delhi to Kathgodam. But the best may be Ranikhet Express as it is an overnight train.
In the first place, we should book a car in advance. Otherwise, we should book a car from the airport or railway station.
Various bus services like a sleeper, A/C or non-A/C etc. are also available from Delhi to Nainital.
If we want to go from Kolkata, then the best and comfortable will be to go via Delhi. If we decide to go by air, then there is no alternative.
However, by Durgiana Express train we may go to Moradabad and from there take a car or taxi. We may avail either daily Bag Express or weekly Lalkuan Express on Friday.
