To begin with, it is one of the topmost attractions of here. This place is only around 5-6 km from Mussoorie. In the first place, it is at the top of Depot Hill in Landour. In fact, it is the highest point of this region. It is the most captivating viewpoint of here.
It is at a height of 2275 meters (7164 feet). We can clearly see the Nilkantha peak (6596 meters) in Badrinath along with Kedarnath peak (6940 meters). Benong Wildlife Sanctuary:
It is open from 7.00 am to 5.00 pm and there is no entry fee.
To start with, it is a part of the famous Rajaji National Park. It is 12 km from Library End Road. This sanctuary is one of the most visited places in this region. It is popular for some rare species and almost-extinct mountain quails, red-billed blue magpie, leopards, deer and etc.
Besides, tourists can see gorgeous Himalayan peaks like Chaukhamba and Bandarpunch. Further, they can trail the breath-taking pine-clad hilly slopes.
In all honesty, it is an ideal place in Mussoorie for bird watcher and nature lovers. This place is very similar to Kolakham and Rishop.
But, it is totally different from the world-famous tiger reserve and wildlife sanctuary of Sundarban. We can visit Sundarban from Kaikhali.
Jwala Devi Temple:
This temple remains open from 5.00 am to 12.00 noon and 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm. There is no entry fee.

The goddess is Devi Durga. One has to trek 2km uphill from Cloud’s End amidst thick deodar and line trees. The panoramic vistas of the Shivalik range, Doon Valley and Yamuna River all along the trekking trail is dumbfounding.
The striking hills, imposing greenery along with small streams offers a breath-taking view. Mingle with the serenity as well as divinity makes it a picture lovers paradise. They will get positive vibes from the stunning scenario all around. It will help to rejuvenate a positive attitude.

It is a newly developed tourist destination only 6km before Mussoorie. In the first place, it is in the Deharadun-Mussoorie road. Indeed, it is an ideal picnic spot. Besides, it is a calm and romantic spot to enjoy with your love and relation. It remains open from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm.

Camel’s Back Road:
It is another attractive location in the heart of Mussoorie. It is a 3km long road from the Library Point to Kulri Bazaar. Tourist can stroll here in the lap of nature. The rocks here look like the camel hump. It is one of the topmost attractions of here.
This place offers a magnificent picturesque beauty of the sky touching Himalayan Hills. Further, we can see dense tall trees and rocks with camel’s hump throughout the entire road. Apart from this, tourists can see a 180 years old British cemetery here. It is the first of its kind in Mussoorie.

This pristine lake is another tourist’s attractions near Kempty falls. The entire region is covered with lush green terrain forest. Added to this are emerald waters and the calmness. It is a perfect location to enjoy boating and spend time with family.
It is open from 8.00 am to 6.30 pm and there is no entry free. Tourists come and enjoy here for 1-2 hours.
To begin with, it is open from 6.00 am to 6.00 pm and there is no entry fee. It is only 15km from Mussoorie.
To tell the truth, it is one of the most famous waterfalls in Uttarakhand. It is surrounded by a high mountain cliff. Indeed, it is very amazing as the water is falling from a great height. Actually, this cascade waterfalls from an altitude of 40 feet. Somersault of the streams prior to hitting the bottom this gigantic fall is very alluring.
Therefore, this milky stream presents us with awesome beauty. Tourists may enjoy a bath under the 40 feet, Falls. Further, one can enjoy boating in the nearby pond. It remains open from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
A pond is formed at the bottom of this falls. If tourists want, then they can bath and swim there.

It is another prominent tourist attraction here. In fact, it is the second-highest peak(2024meters). It is said that it is an extinct volcano. Moreover, the panoramic view of the mighty Himalayan peaks from here is really spellbound. Added to this is the ropeway journey. Further, tourists can enjoy balloon shooting. It is in close proximity (400feet above) to Mall Road.

Sir George Everest House:
It is another prime tourist’s attraction in Mussoorie. And offers magnificent scenic beauty of snowy Himalayan peak along with bird’s eyes views of Doon Valley. Most importantly it was built in 1832. Soham Heritage Art Centre:
It houses the culture along with the tradition of Himalayas. There are sculptures, paintings on canvasses, murals, frescoes and scrap art, as well.
Enthusiasts can also see Bhatta Falls, 14 km away from Mussoorie. It will take only 33 minutes. And offers alluring natural scenic beauty. It is a popular picnic spot.

Best Time to Visit Mussoorie:
End of March to June and October to early November are the best time to visit this place. This time weather generally remains clear. So tourists can enjoy the natural beauty along with other activities.
Always try to avoid the rainy season from July to September. In winter, it will be very cold here.
End of November to early March, it is very cold. No doubt, this is the best time to visit for those who can bear cold. This time one will get a clear view of the sky.
How Many Days Are Sufficient to Visit Mussorie?
As a matter of fact, 2-3 days are sufficient to visit this place. But, it will require at least 2 full days.
Snowfall in Mussoorie:
Over the years, it is very erratic here. This is due to climatic changes and deforestation. If the weather is windy and accompanied by rainfall, then there is a chance of snowfall. Usually, January and February may experience snowfall here.

How to go to Mussoorie:
The nearest airport is Jollygrant Airport in Dehradun. It is 57.8 km away and will take 2hours and 1 minute to reach Mussoorie. Tourists can avail direct flights from Delhi as well as Mumbai. Both Delhi and Mumbai are very well connected by air all over the country. Not only national but also these two cities are very well connected internationally.
Otherwise, people may come to Delhi, at first. From there, they will go to Jollygrant airport by air.
From here, tourists will hire a car to reach their dream destination.
The nearest railway station is Dehradun Railway Station. It is about 33km away and it takes 1hour 33 minutes to reach.
Otherwise, tourists can go via Haridwar railway Station. It is approximately 85 km away and it takes around 3hours and ten minutes.
Both Haridwar and Deharadun are well connected with almost all the major cities of India.
